Nutrition advisor and health food store Vitalize have a great deal of expertise and hold professional qualifications in their field. They came to us for a website that could highlight their shop by offering a valuable online resource for nutritional advice.
Anticipating mobile traffic, we created a responsive website with a scrollable home page to show off the firm’s branding and display all the information visitors need very quickly.
Everything is easy to navigate on a smartphone or mobile device – visitors can simply scroll down and find illustrated links to every section of the site. We also included a navigation bar at the top to make moving round the site even easier.
The home page is kept fresh by including a feed of the firm’s latest news. The opening text introduces the firm and offers a free health guide – a good way of encouraging email sign ups.
Images and alternating sections of colour break up the information on the page and offer bold, animated calls-to-action for nutritional information and selected products from the Vitalize store. The product pages encourage people to visit the shop by highlighting discounted items.
Other pages on the site include a blog to help with SEO and an ‘about’ page to tell the firm’s story and establish their credentials. The nutritional information pages are well laid out with a good mix of text and image, and engagement is encouraged with a Q and A section.
Finally it was just a case of adding the firm’s contact details and location information, making sure that a relevant audience can find and reach them.
