The Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps is a national organisation which aims to improve the standards of the chimney sweeping industry through a range of initiatives, such as professional training, assessment and safeguarding schemes.
Codastar worked with the Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps to create and design a large and detailed website which has been built using PHP. A large section of the website is specially designed to allow chimney sweeps from all over the country to sign up and become members of the guild. This then gives the chimney sweeps access to a bespoke member’s area full of specialised content and information, including training courses, newsletters and events as well as much more. We also created a Blog built on the popular WordPress platform, allowing the client to easily update the site with their latest news.
Other notable features of the website include an integrated search functionality, which allows visitors to find the nearest chimney sweep in their area using an interactive map. There’s also an events calendar, which allows the guild to add upcoming courses, conferences and events which then appears on the front page of the website.
As well as including a range of specialised features, Codastar also worked closely with The Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps to ensure the website was consistently branded and contained all of the necessary information whilst putting the user’s experience at the forefront of the entire process.
