With over 40 years in the business and many professional accreditations under their chimney sweeps’ belt, Embers wanted a website that could do them justice. We started things from scratch, making sure the new site was SEO optimized for the key search terms for the firm’s core services. We wanted Google to see Embers as an authority in their field, and rank them accordingly.
Knowing the right audience would find them, we then set about creating a fully responsive website that can be easily viewed and navigated on any device, whether desktop PC or smartphone. Visitors are greeted by a well-organized homepage that showcases Embers’ services while offering great user experience that encourages visitors to make contact and convert.
Scrolling down reveals bold calls-to-action to take users to the services they require. To keep the website fresh and updated we integrated the firm’s social media accounts. The firm’s Twitter feed is imbedded on the home page, as is the latest news from the blog.
The look of the site is very sharp. The tonal colour scheme breaks the pages up in orange and brown bands to complement the firm’s branding. Images and graphics are used sparingly so that the pages are attractive but not distracting.
The site features a neat navigation bar with drop down menus to offer easy navigation. The bar features links to all of Embers’ social media accounts and bold contact details for quick engagement.
An ‘about us’ pages offers a brief overview of the firm and their range of clients and expertise. Dedicated service pages give details about the features of the service and FAQs covering common queries about the work.
Other details of the site are all about reassuring prospects and further establishing Embers’ credibility. The home page features the firm’s accreditations and the logos of the big name stoves they supply. A ‘gallery’ page shows images of the firm’s previous projects. By providing a blog on the site Embers can give updates about new products and projects, and also show visitors the pride they take in their business.
Finally a ‘contact us’ page provides full contact details, opening times and an enquiry form.
Embers now have a good looking and well organized site with high search engine visibility. They can attract traffic from their various social media accounts, and be sure that, whether people are checking them out on a smartphone or taking a longer look on a PC, all of the information visitors need is easy to find and well laid out.
